Ordering

 

Placing an order for your furniture parts and furniture hardware is simple.  You can order your furniture parts and furniture hardware through our online store, over the phone, or email us — this is the fastest way to reach us right now if you do not checkout, using our online store.

 

Phone Orders

We are currently working remotely so we are out of the office and randomly checking voicemail messages throughout the workday.  Please leave us a detailed message at (800) 350-9419 if you need help ordering and we can either email or call you back between 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Central Time), Monday through Friday. Please have your item numbers and description ready and credit card information. We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover. You can also order online and choose phone order during the checkout if you don’t feel safe using your credit card online. We would then call you to get that information. The website is actually safer since it is encrypted. A phone call is not.

 

Payment By Mail

Add your products to the shopping bag and check out. There is an option to pay by check. This will send us your order information and we will hold your order until we receive and deposit the check and it has cleared. You can also just type your order out on a piece of paper if you prefer. Please make the check payable to Furniture Knowledge. No COD’s.

Fax Orders

We will accept a faxed copy of your order as long as it has all the information we need. Our fax number is (866) 697-2577. We will then contact you to get your payment information.

 

PayPal Ordering

If you would like us to send you out a PayPal Invoice, email us at sales@furnitureknowledge.com and give us the furniture parts and furniture hardware item numbers and we will create and send you an invoice right away.

 

Shipping and Handling

 

We ship all orders via USPS or UPS unless otherwise requested. For rush shipments, UPS second day air, or next day air is available.  Call or email for quotes.

Shipping and handling charges will be billed as follows:

Regular Ground Delivery in the Continental United States

  • $5.00 on orders with a subtotal of zero to $9.99
  • $8.00 on order totals of $10.00 to $19.99
  • $15.00 on order totals of $20.00 to $49.99
  • $20.00 on order totals of $50.00 to $149.99
  • $35.00 on order totals of $1150.00 to $219.99
  • $50.00 on order totals of $220.00 to $299.99
  • $65.00 on order totals of $300.00 to $349.99
  • $75.00 on order totals of $350.00 to $399.99
  • $95.00 on orders with a subtotal of $400.00 and up.

If there are other items you may need, please add them to your order to make it worth your while. The order will ship by First class, Priority mail, or FedEx Ground depending on the size and weight and size of the package.

The website will not calculate Second Day and Next Day Air shipments. You are welcome to request a cost estimate and order by phone.

 

International Shipping Charges

Email us with your full address and phone number and let us know the quantity and the SKU numbers of what you would like to order and we can send you a price quote and go from there.

We ship most orders within 5 to 7 business days of receipt. If your furniture parts or furniture hardware is not in stock, or may take longer to get in, we will notify you.

 

Pricing

 

Prices on all furniture hardware and furniture parts are subject to change without notice. We only make price changes for substantial cost fluctuations. Prices on all our furniture parts and furniture hardware do not include federal, state, or local taxes.

We offer a 10% discount on all orders over $50.00.

 

Warranty

 

We absolutely guarantee satisfaction on all of our furniture hardware, furniture parts and products when they are used as directed for the purpose as recommended. If for any reason you are not satisfied with any furniture parts, furniture hardware or any product, you may return your order for a full refund, credit, or exchange. This warranty applies to material only. We will not compensate for any installation or removal cost of defective material. All defects or shortages must be reported within 30 days of the invoice date. (See 30-Day Return Period below for more information).

 

30-Day Return Period on Orders

 

You may return most* items we have on our site for any reason within 30 days of the invoice date and receive a full refund** on your purchased items. We do not, however, offer a refund on the shipping you paid or the shipping you have to pay to send the item back to us.

If your order total is $250.00 and over or if any items are returned after 30 days  items returned are subject to a 20% restocking charge.

**Rocker Runners, Replacement Seats, Bread Drawers and Trunk Banding are subject to a 20% restocking fee regardless of return date.

* WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS ON REED AND CHEMICALS (GLUE, BRASS AGER, ETC.) OR ON SPECIAL ORDERS.

If you wish to return any furniture parts or furniture hardware, please package the items securely. Make sure you make a copy of your order with your order number.  You can also write a comment on your invoice stating that you are returning the product(s) and if the product(s) were damaged or had a problem.
