Sea Grass

Regular seagrass is put up in coils weighing approximately 2 3/4 pounds each. Seagrass is hand twisted and is not a uniform diameter as a result. The green color turns brown with age. One coil will do an average 12" by 14" seat.

Danish Cord

Danish cord is made of paper twisted into a three ply strand approximately 1/8" in diameter. Laced cord has a rope like appearance created by the three individual strands being tightly twisted before being twisted together. The three strands in un-laced cord have a slightly looser twist, causing the strands to be less distinct and creating a smoother appearance.

Cord is sold by the pound, approximately 180 feet per pound. Two pounds are required to do an average (16"x 16") chair seat.
